Event 3: Cosmological Elements #3
The third event that I attended this quarter was “COSMOLOGICAL ELEMENTS #3”. This event was very interesting and there were a number of speakers and art that really caught my attention. The first part of the event that really captured my attention was the artwork by a woman named Angel. I was so inspired by her dedication to capturing beautiful photographs of the night sky. I really enjoyed hearing her discuss how she has gone on many adventures and journeys to travel to different cities to take pictures of the night sky from different places. She discussed how the pictures of the night sky look very different around the world, and this was so interesting to learn about. I never really thought that the night sky would look so different depending on what city you are in. I was in awe of her passion for her artwork and photography of the night sky and I was captivated by the incredibly clear and beautiful photos that she was able to capture.
Another speaker who really caught my attention and taught me a lot was Florian Voggeneder. I was really invested in seeing more of his artwork and hearing about his vision for his artwork. It was so interesting to learn about the relationship between science fiction and space. His artwork shows images of astronauts, and these pictures have incredibly vibrant colors. These pictures were so unique and captivating because I had never seen artwork like this before, it looks like artwork that many people would like to buy and use to put around their homes.
This art is so impressive and I have a lot of respect for Florian because these photographs look very challenging to create and he has such a creative vision for his work. These pictures really highlight the astronauts and many of the pictures have very vibrant and beautiful colors. This was one of my favorite pieces of work to see in this class so far.
This event really taught me how dedicated artists are when they are passionate about their art. These artists go on journeys and dedicate years of their life to mastering their art. I am really inspired by these artists and I enjoyed seeing their amazing works of art.
